Today was my first birthday away (well REALLY far away ) from home. I am glad Dad was here! We spent most of the day in Tombstone (the town too tough to die). It kind of reminds me of King's Landing except that this is still a real functioning town. People are walking around in costume.. or perhaps it is their real everyday clothes!?? haha The front two streets with the OK Corral and Bird Cage Theatre are still dirt roads. It was interesting to visit. We saw the shoot out at the OK Corral and had lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon.
This evening we had supper in Mexico at my favorite restaurant. A couple of Mexican signers came over and sang Happy Birthday to me and then sang me a Mexican song.
We are leaving bright and early for the Grand Canyon. I am not sure about Internet access for the next couple of days but will bring the computer in case.
Hope all is well back home!

Happy Birthday. Sound like you had an eventful one! It must have made it better to have your two men there. Have a terrific time at the Grand Canyon, I hope to get there some day. I have heard it is a "must see".
Thanks so much for all the great posts. Shawn and I both enjoy seeing them and getting to know you better through them (that's more me than Shawn).
Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and hope the rest of your visit with you dad is terrific.

Happy Birthday ... here is your test ... I hope it's working!!
Perhaps I will start a blog ... but not sure how the time issue will factor into things once baby arrives!! I don't want to start something I can't finish!!
Glad you and Dad had a fabulous time!!
